COLONIAL GYM — The Colonial girl’s basketball team, after all their work, came in second place in the Pelham rec league.

The team accomplished so much by working hard. Players improved their skills learned and practiced.

Claudia Dodge said she joined basketball because in gym class they were playing the game, and Mrs. Sarah Bagwell, the physical education teacher, said she was good. “I thought I would give it a try,” said Claudia (5GL).

“Basketball makes me feel happy, energetic because I can run down the court with the basketball, so I can just burst out all my energy trying to shoot and make a basket for the team,” said Claudia.
