EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — At MetLife Stadium, Taylor Swift performed many of her songs for the “1989” world tour. Both nights sold out. The special guests were Shawn Mendez and Vance Joy.

There was a surprise appearance by The Weekend, who sang “I Can’t Feel My Face” in duet with Taylor. Taylor also brought out the World Cup-winning U.S. women’s soccer team during “Style.” The concert was all about the power off friendship.

There were video testimonials with Selena Gomez and Karlie Kloss during costume changes. There were more than 60,000 people in the stadium both nights. The tour kicked off in Japan on May 5 and will end in Australia  in December.

Amelie L’Henaff said, “I thought the concert was amazing. The way the bracelets lit up according to the song she played was cool. Also the lighting of the stage was great. My favorite part was when she was about to sing ‘Bad Blood’ and the lights were red and everything was dramatic, especially the sounds. I felt special because I got to go and enjoy something this amazing with my two best friends. I had two favorite songs, ‘Bad Blood’ and ‘Clean.'”

“My favorite song was ‘Bad Blood’ and ‘Shake it Off,'” said Brenna Rini. “I felt happy and excited because it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I was able to do it with my two best friends. I loved the concert because Taylor is my favorite singer, and it was my first concert. My favorite part was when the fireworks shot out when Taylor was singing ‘Shake it Off.'”

“My favorite song was ‘Bad Blood’ because of the scenery,” said Greta Fear. “I felt pumped up and excited because it was my first concert. I was there with my friends, and we had a blast. I loved all of it, and I couldn’t choose a favorite part.”

Taylor put on a stunning concert, and I would totally recommend seeing her on the “1989” tour!
