The truly talented actor Alan Rickman died. Alan Rickman is most well known for his roles as Severus Snape in The Harry Potter series and the Sheriff in Robin Hood: The Prince Of Thieves. Alan died early this morning from cancer at only 69.

He was a born a thespian and had talent flowing threw his veins, he marked the lives of many with his acting.

Alan was nominated for 29 awards and won 16. Some of the awards he won are but not limited to: a Golden Globe for best performance by an actor in a mini-series or motion picture for TV in 1997, and a Primetime Emmy for outstanding lead actor for a miniseries or special in ’96.

Alan is also the voice for The Blue Caterpillar for the new Alice In Wonderland Film and Through The Looking Glass which is due to come out this memorial day. Luckily for the producers the filming had been completed. But sadly Through the looking Glass will be the last new piece of Alan’s work we’ll be experiencing.
