COLONIAL LIBRARY — Two Colonial School parents who work as professional radio broadcasters and voiceover personalities will be reading from the books Scary Stories and Happy Birthday Good Knight at 6:30 p.m. today at the opening of the annual book fair.

Parents and kids can come to be entertained by Dave and Louise Kolin, parents of Charles (3L) and William (1A), and shop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The book fair will then run on Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with classes shopping at different times.

“I think they have a really good selection of books and I think most of the students like the books,” said Andi Cork, one of the chairs of the sale. “I think the book fair is a great thing because everyone likes to read.”

Book-fair books can also be purchased throughout the year on Booktopia’s website. Click on the “school link” box and then Colonial Elementary and all profits go to the Colonial PTA.
