Water on Mars

Water on Mars

Did you know that there is not only water on earth, but there is water on Mars too? The red planet is the fourth in line to the sun. Mars is known as the red planet because it is very hot. Some people think that the water is going to evaporate quickly just like Breanna Blake (4v) said, “It is super hot so I think it is going to turn into a gas”. Others believe that it will stay as is. Here are some opinions from students, teachers and parents about the topic. “There is a good chance to have something living on Mars if there is water,” said Ava Johson (5h).  Another opinion is from Katy B. who said, “It’s awesome knowing that people are going to be able to live there or just a life form that we do not know about may exist.” Also, Mrs Bagwell shared her thinking,”People are going to get more jobs just in that fascinating subject.” Mr. Martucci also thinks,”If there is water there is a likely a chance of life.” Gabby Ahitow (4v) said that, “It’s weird that noone knew that there might be life on Mars”. Mr.Jack Smith ( GroupM NYC) says, “I think it is cool that there is water on Mars because that is a sign of life. It’s also cool because I think there is about 70% chance of life on Mars”. So you might think there is life on the red planet, but there might be more. What do you think?
