COLONIAL GYM- Students and parents made Valentine’s Day crafts, such as pop-up cards and heart cards, at Colonial’s first Family Fun Night on Jan. 20. Pizza was served.

Finley from 1H said she was having fun making pop-up cards.

Ben, also from 1H, said this was his first family night, and he was enjoying it by making a heart card.

“I love that everyone comes together and has a good time,” said Mrs. Tonya Wilson, the principal. “Kids get to play with friends and some of the cards will also be donated to Valentines for Veterans. These events also build a good community.”

Colonial School will be hosting two more Family Fun Nights during the rest of the school year, a family bingo night and a family game night.
