Many students are excited about Jump Rope for Heart

COLONIAL GYM — Jump Rope for Heart is almost here. Raising money for sick kids to get better is important. Fourth and fifth graders will jump rope on Wednesday.

Ms. Sara Bagwell, Colonial School’s P.E. teacher, is always excited when Jump Rope for Heart comes around because she knows the money helps those with sick hearts. Not only does the fourth and fifth grade fundraise, but Ms. Bagwell and her family do too.

Before Ms. Bagwell, Jump Rope for Heart was not an event at Colonial. Now, it has been running for 13 years.

Each year after fundraising, there is always an exciting buzz about what the new Jump Rope for Heart flag will look like.

Many students enjoy the fundraiser.

Plum Durham (4V) said she loves that she can help other people, and she is excited to do it next year.
