COLONIAL  — Colonial School has a new Spanish teacher named Mrs. Frances Corelli. She is teaching the second and third graders.

When they’re in Spanish, the kids learn by speaking about what they’re learning in Spanish, said Mrs. Corelli. Also they learn how to pronounce Spanish words and how to read the language.

“Mrs. Corelli is a good add to our school,” said Mrs. Tonya Wilson, the principal.

Courtlyn Ahitow said she liked the new class because she learns new Spanish words.

Natalie Bass said she enjoyed studying new letters and numbers in Spanish.
