COLONIAL SCHOOL โ€” Every year, Student Government runs a toy drive for children in the neighboring city of Mount Vernon. The goal was 64 for toys this year, and right before the holiday break, donations were already higher than that.

Some examples of toys that have been donated include Play-Doh, a tool kit and a magic set.

“I do think we should have it because some kids do not have toys,” said Audrey Davis.

Eamon Loughman said, “I guess we should do it to help other people.”

“I think we should have the toy drive because you are helping people,” said Drew Shannon. “Imagine what it would be like if you did not have toys.”

Anjali Shekher said, “I think we should do the toy drive because some people do not have toys and they don’t have money to afford toys so, I think this is a good thing to have.”
