COLONIAL SCHOOL — 24 Club is coming back on Jan. 31 and will meet every Thursday from 12:15 p.m. 12:45 p.m.

In the club, fourth and fifth grade kids use each of four numbers on a card to make 24. They can only use each number once and do multiplication, addion, division and subtraction once. This is a good way to practice math skills.

This year, fourth grade teacher Ron Martucci is not advising the club. Instead, fifth grade teacher Jeneane Salerno is taking lead.

Aileen Henry (4M) said, “I’m really excited because if I do 24 Club, I will be better at 24 cards and overall, math.”

“Yes, I’m finally going to get a chance to win,” said Stella Gretina (4G). “I like competing, so this is a win win.”

“I like it because it’s fun,” said Luke (5S).
