COLONIAL — Colonial School is wearing pink Feb. 14 to show breast cancer awareness, joining Pelham Middle School, Pelham Memorial High School and the three other elementary schools.

“I think going pink is a very good and interesting idea,” Theo Moss (5S) said. “Breast cancer is hard and should be noticed more. Going pink expresses how much the school cares.”

Blythe McGibbon (3M) said, “I think this is a good idea because I like dressing up for special occasions. A lot of people get cancer, and it is good to show awareness.”

Wearing pink is an eighth grade community project, and they hope everyone will do it.

Camden White (5H) said, “It is cool that everything will be wearing pink. It is also good to show awareness.”
