High school student’s locked bike is stolen
PELHAM — A bicycle was stolen from where a Pelham Memorial High School student had locked it.
“A kid from high school left his bike at the bicycle rack at 8 a.m. on Oct. 25 2019,” said Lt. John Hynes of the Pelham Police Department. “When he came back to get it at 5 p.m., he realized his bike and the lock were missing. Nobody knows how or why the bike was stolen. All we know is that the bike was (worth) only $10.”
The police are still looking for the person who stole the bike. This will be a very difficult task as the only clue they have is a chain for the stolen lock.
“The kid reported his stolen bike almost immediately, ” said Hynes.
