Les Bleus forward Andrew Spana got his team on the board with a fine goal in the first  period, followed by a score off the foot of Aiden Sisk in the  second quarter. In the second half, Nick Wessman of Les Bleus had a natural hat trick with three successive goals, the final  tally on a perfectly placed direct kick that eluded the Super Eagles defensive wall to find the upper right corner of the net. Les Bleus midfielders Nicosie Worrell and Paul Lapey both had solid afternoons, with solid challenges and crisp passes in both  ends of the field.

Bafana Banfana 3, Red Fury 5
In a hard fought game in the Underdome on Saturday, the Red Fury defeated Bafana Bafana 5-3 with the attacking prowess of William Catalano (hat trick), Samuel Cork (goal and assist) and John Cullen (goal), as Patrick Roche and Cork exchanged neat passes at the top of the box to create one goal and Cork sent a long cross field ball for Catalano to put in another. A stingy defense was anchored by goalkeepers Duffy Doyle and Saul Glist and center backs Julien Evans and Patrick Zahradnik.  Michael Salama kept up the fight with two goals, one with a strong left  foot, along with Jason Reynolds who scored the third goal. Adam  Bukowski showed great passing and ball skills. John Howard Bissel and Kabir Motwani were agressive on offense with nice shots on goal.  Alejandro Kahaner and Patrick Wertimer gave valiant efforts in goal  blocking shots and saving goals. Julian Wisdom and Dennis Phillips in midfield broke up multiple drives disrupting the opponents offense.  Adam Bukowski shined on offense with a great passing game. Jack Fronce aggressively played defense along with Eric Sotolongo, routinely breaking up plays. Liam Fairback showed great skill and a nose for the ball on defense, helping to set up the offense.
