OLPH — Catholic school Our Lady Of Perpetual Help’s seventh grade girls basketball team has only lost two games. The team has played 10 games so far. They are also the best in their league.

Player Theo Caminiti, who happens to be my sister,  said, “I am so happy about the win. This is the best we’ve ever done. This is only my third year on the OLPH team.”

Some of the teams the OLPH girls played were good. “St. Gregory was hard,” said Theo. “It was a close game. We weren’t always losing to the two teams we lost to.”

This reporter’s view is that positive words from the crowd could help or distract the players.

The team hopes the winning streak will continue because most of the players are hard working and deserve it.
