Colonial students and staff pick Patriots, in our Super Bowl survey
COLONIAL — The school has a bunch of football fans from Giants to Lions and clubs that win a lot to those that don’t. Colonial students get especially excited when the year comes to Super Bowl time. According to a Colonial Times survey, seven people say the Patriots will win, while one picked Atlanta.
Mr. Ron Martucci, Dr. Paul Farrell, one fifth grader, three third graders and one second grader picked New England.
Fifth grader Ryan McGovern said quarterback Tom Brady was the reason the Pats would win.
“I think the Falcons will win because they’ve got good receivers, a good QB, and they haven’t won in a while,” said Will Crotty, the one voter for Atlanta.
The Falcons will be an exciting team to watch, but are most definitely the underdog.
