COLONIAL SCHOOL – In a series of interviews, kids said they were looking forward to a number of different things this school year, including last month’s Halloween parade and the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium field trip.

Some kids are even excited about homework.

Carter O’Neil said he was looking forward to the aquarium field trip the second grade takes.

Josie Kagan said she can’t wait for the third grade trip to Pelham Place restaurant.

Homework and the Thanksgiving party were the big events highlighted by Scarlet Helmers, a Kindergartner.

In an interview before Oct. 31, Oliver Brown said he was looking forward to the Halloween parade and dance.

Jules Moss’s top goal for the year was becoming better writer.
