COLONIAL GYM — Colonial’s third graders have started playing instruments for the first time and performed in a concert. The instruments include bass, cello, violin and viola. Many kids are happy with their instruments.

Duncan Gin plays the violin. His favorite song is “Hot Cross Buns.” His favorite reason for being in the orchestra is because “I get to miss subjects when I go to classes.”

Evan Kaplan plays the viola. His favorite song is “Jingle Bells.” His reason for being in orchestra is “the fact that I have a shoulder rest.”

Ms. Marcia Bean is the orchestra teacher. Her favorite song is “We Will Rock You.”

Timmy  Gallivan, who plays cello, also said his favorite song is “We Will Rock You.” And his reason for being in orchestra is because “I have a bow.”
