The Veolia water program education company visited Colonial on March 18th 2025 to educate our school on our water system.
The fifth grade did a program called water matters, as did the second grade. 3rd grade learned about freshwater ecosystems. 4th Grade learned about The Incredible Journey of water, and K through 1 learned about all living things that need water.
Emilia in 5S and she said, “I think it’s really cool that they’re teaching us about water because water matters!” Lilah in 4G said “I thought it was an interesting event. It was fun to learn about the water in our town.” Quinn in 5P said “It was a great experience. I think it was cool that we got to learn about water.”
In conclusion, this was a great experience for the whole school community!
