The spring concert is a concert at Hutch for the 4th and 5th graders of Colonial to have a fun time and play their instruments. The fourth and fifth graders that are not in orchestra or band get to sing, and even if you play an instrument at the concert, you still sing with the rest of the chorus.
At the spring concert, parents or guardians are able to come see their children perform at Hutch. The spring concert is a time to show how well you can sing and how well you can play. Your parents and family can see how much you practiced and enjoy you perform! Singing with the fourth graders and fifth graders allows you to form teamwork and sing great!
Mr.Salvatore leads the chorus, Mr. Dolgon leads the band, and Ms.Bean is with the orchestra. The songs played by the orchestra are March International, Appalachia waltz, and Janie Be Good. Songs played by band are BB’s First Rock Tune, Iko Iko, and Ob la di ob la da. The song from the fourth grade chorus sang Bright Happy Day Song. Fifth grade sang Can See Clearly Now. All together, they sang high hopes together.
