Kindness Rock Garden in Outdoor Classroom!
The Fifth grade Girl Scouts of Colonial school have come up with a new and creative way to put a smile on someone’s face who is feeling down. They have decided to create a Kindness Rock Garden in Colonials’ outdoor classroom.
The Girl Scouts painted the rocks for the garden. Each rock has beautiful designs and also different quotes that can cheer up a student. The Girl Scouts came up this idea in the hopes of spreading positivity and kindness throughout the school and community. They will be displayed in the outdoor classroom next week so when you have the chance go check it out!
One of the Girl Scouts, Lexi Cullen explained, “We hope other students will see this garden and begin to spread more kindness in our community! Also, if someone isn’t feeling good mentally they can go there and see that someone cares.”
Remember it is always cool to be kind!
