Colonial 5th Graders Last Newspaper Club Meeting

Colonial+5th+Graders+Last+Newspaper+Club+Meeting

Today marks our last newspaper meeting of the school year but that doesn’t mean our weekly updates will stop!

Sophia Wall says, “I enjoy the newspaper, however I did not love waking up early.” This is how we will all feel as we depart from our newspaper meetings.

But we just want to give thanks to our wonderful teacher Ms. Agostino for making this happen. Ms. Agostino always helps us brainstorm ideas for articles. Without her we would not have been able to write so many articles! Ms. Agostino also makes books filled with all of the articles each graduating 5th graders have written. She made it special for the 5th graders. Everyday we struggle to wake up every time we have a newspaper meeting but we do it anyway because we love newspaper meetings and our wonderful teacher.

Our newspaper meetings are once a week and start at 7:30 and end at 8:15. We’re sad to have our last meeting on March 5th!

And here’s what some graduating 5th graders have to say. Brooke Gatto says, “I’ll miss it and might try it again in middle school.”

Finley Moynihan said, “I will be sad because I will be going to middle school and won’t be doing this with all my friends anymore.”

So you can see that everybody will miss newspaper but we can’t wait to get back to reporting in the fall!
