From 32 to 16 to 4.

The Dallas Stars, Golden Knights, Carolina Hurricanes, and Florida Panthers are the last few teams able to hoist the Stanley Cup. The three Staal brothers have played 16 years in the National Hockey League, and this is the first time they will all be playing in a playoffs series. Eric Staal who plays for the Hurricanes will be playing against his brothers, Marc Staal and Jordan Staal who both play for the Panthers.

The Dallas Stars recently played the Vegas Golden Knights in 2020. The Stars beat Vegas in 6 games and the Stars went on to play the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2020 Stanley Cup Finals. In the 2021 postseason, the Golden Knights were not pleased with coach Pete Deboar’s choice of coaching behind the bench. Even though, the Vegas Knights didn’t make the playoffs mostly due to injuries Pete Deboar was fired and later Bruce Cassidy was renamed as the VGK’s coach for the 2022-23 season.

Jack Eichel former Buffalo Saber was traded to the VGK on November 4th, 2021. Jack Eichel has never made the postseason until this year. The VGK won the Pacific division title, and they blew past the Jets and turned the Oilers into a golfing franchise. It only took Jack Eichel 8 years to get the feeling of playing in the Conference Finals.
