The World Baseball Classic is when countries around the globe play to qualify in one of the biggest baseball events in the world. Players are invited to represent their country or their parents’ country. The teams get inserted into pools or divisions. Each pool is assigned a team to play in their pool and their pools’ assigned stadium. Pool A has a stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico called Hiram Bithorn Stadium. Pool B has Daikin Park in Houston, Texas. Pool C has the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo,Japan. Finally Pool D has loanDepot park in Miami, Florida.The top two teams from each of the four pools go into the playoffs of the tournament.The USA pool B with Italy, Mexico, Great Britain, and Brazil.The Teams in pool A are Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Panama, and Puerto Rico.The teams in pool C are Japan, South Korea, Australia, Czechia, and Chinese Taipei. And finally the teams in pool D are Dominican Republic, Venezuela, the Netherlands, Israel, and Nicaragua.

The rules for the World Baseball Classic are the top two teams from each pool advance to the knockout stage. There are some mercy rules the mercy are if a team leads by 15 or more runs after five innings, or 10 or more runs after seven innings.
