On April 22nd, an amazing event took place at the back of Colonial school, and it’s called Pasta Night! During the proceedings of this event there was lots of activities that students can do. Fifth graders received a t-shirt with a cougar on it, and the t-shirt was actually designed by a Colonial graduate.
Pasta Night also has a few food options which include several types of pastas and salad (which fifth graders were able to serve), snacks like goldfish, desserts like cupcakes, and also cookies in the shape of a cougar paw or in the shape of a letter C to represent Colonial.
One other event that happened on Pasta Night was the annual raffles. With some raffles having a higher chance of you winning a prize than others. Some prize winners this year were Nina Etkin, Addy Wasson, Elihu Arz, Lucy Kirk, and tons more.
Lots of people thought that Pasta Night was a super fun event and here’s what some of those people said. Nina from 5P said “I like it because it’s a fun and interactive way to raise money for the fifth graders graduation.” Neel from 5P said “It was really fun to do the sea lion”. Elihu from 5S said “I liked serving the lo mein”.
Overall, Pasta Night was a super fun event that lots of people enjoyed. I hope you come next year to Colonial school’s annual Pasta Night!
