Scooterville is a fun activity that happens every year after spring break. Scooterville is different for every grade but it all is the same concept. The simple scooterville that it all goes off on is you ride on scooters around town. Starting in 2rd grade you get money and have to pay for activities or get jobs to work and earn money. With the money you can play and possibly win challenges for more money. You could also buy a luxury item which are cool scooters that you can rent or sell. In the end the person with the most money wins. Mrs. Bagwell has been doing scooterville for more than 10 years already.
There are different interactive stations. If you are in 2-5 grade you either work or play. If you’re in Kindergarten-1st grade you just get to play. Some of the most popular stations are Rock Climbing, Bowling, Basketball, and Arcade. If you want to do rock climbing you pay 3$ to do 3 laps but it varies depending on your grade. If you complete the challenge you get 5$. All the stations have challenges that you pay the owner to play if you succeed you get money back.
Mrs Bagwell said “It’s so fun even though it’s extra work.” She also said “ she got the idea at a 2014 P.E teachers conference.” Mrs Bagwell said, “That she has not taken any games off of scooterville but has added games such as mini golf, which was an individual game.” She also said that her favorite station is “McBagwells or Bowling.” Mrs Bagwell isn’t the only one who really likes scooterville. All around the school people are excited for it. It is probably the most famous activity because it is fun for every grade from kindergarten to fifth grade. Neel Mishal says, “It is a really fun event.” Lilah Schwarz says, “I like scooterville because there are a lot of places you can work to get money.” Allison Charrier says, “ It’s a really fun event that many students can really enjoy.” Tula Romanelli says, “ I really like it because it is basically preparing us for the real world but it’s a gym activity.”
Many people love Scooterville and really enjoy the fun interactive stations.
