On April 17 2026 a paralympian wheelchair fencer named Victoria Isaacson came to Colonial school. She talked about her life and journey to becoming a paralympian wheelchair fencer.
Victoria found a love of fencing when she was 13 years old. At first, the doctors thought she was faking to get out of school, but she told them “No, something’s wrong.” 3 years later, she was diagnosed with a rare disease called LES. Even after her setback, her coaches just transitioned her to wheelchair fencing.
Victoria is also very passionate about animals. She is a doctor who helps with occupational therapy. Occupational therapists are people who help with people’s hand issues. She helps people so hat they can do day to day things.
Victoria’s famous motto is “Don’t stop when you’re tired. Stop when you’re done.” She writes this at the end of all her fencing emails.
So in conclusion, Victoria Isaacson is an amazing paralympian who doesn’t let other people bring her down.
