Troop 1570 is doing their bronze project. They are making a girl scout camping cookbook. This troop has been doing girl scouts for six years.
Now that they are about to go to middle school they have to do a project that helps the community and is fun for them. They decided that a cookbook was the best for them, because they love cooking. They are making it for the younger troops when they go camping.
Calista Considine says, “I like girl scouts because I get to make new friends. I also like that the cookbook has a lot of recipes for people who can’t eat meat or gluten.”
