Diary of a Wimpy Kid, follows the events of Greg Heffley’s first few months of middle school or his first five months of “prison.” Greg and his best friend Rowley Jefferson are trying to survive their middle school for just a week and would do anything to get a seat at a lunch table. Greg’s older brother Rodrick tells Greg some important tips for middle school, such as not to use the 2nd floor bathroom and not to touch the cheese. 

Later Rowley and Greg are playing a game when Rowley falls and breaks his arm. Rowley instantly became popular from his broken arm. Greg gets jealous as Rowley gets a new bestie, so Greg goes for a sleepover at Fregley’s house which he instantly regrets. When Greg and Rowley get into a fight they are about to go head to head but suddenly 3 teens begin to pick on them. The teens make Rowley eat some of the cheese. When their teacher comes to get rid of the teens, the other kids notice that part of the cheese is gone. When they are about to blame Rowley, Greg said he ate the cheese. All the kids said that Greg had the cheese touch.  Now whenever Greg went anywhere everyone would leave, Greg found the bright side as he and Rowley then got their own lunch table.   

In conclusion, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the Animated Movie, is a very good and interesting movie that you should watch because of the action packed humorous parts of the movie. It shares an amazing story about friends sticking up for each other, a life lesson we should all learn.
