Our very first play is coming to Colonial School! It will be Madagascar Jr. It is run by the Sandbox Theatre and is an after school program. It will start on March 5, 2026.
Rehearsals will be on Thursdays after school in the Colonial gym, from 3:15-5:30pm. Grades 3-5 will be participating in the play. It will be colonial school’s first play. Let’s see what some of the actors have to say. Quincy in 4A said,’’I’m excited because when I grow up I want to be an actor.” Maggie in 4G said “I’m really excited, I’ve never acted before!” Sophia in 4G said “I’m really excited, I want to be the girl hippo.” Registered children will work towards special performances later in the session. The play is sponsored by the PTA and is run by the Sandbox Theater in Mamaroneck.
It will be very fun to watch all of the performers perform in Madagascar Jr!
