Pelham Baseball Parade for Opening Day
On April 23rd, 2022 Pelham hosted a baseball parade going throughout the town. This was also opening day for little league and travel baseball. The teams walked to Ingalls field where doughnuts and water were handed out to players.
When questioned about if he was excited about the season, Gavin Mcgeever responded, “Yes! I think we’re going to have a good season. I think our team looks great!”
Ingalls baseball field was covered with every team’s logo and was filled with even more people! Over 100 people were in the park! Opening day started with Padres V.S the Reds. The Reds triumphed 12-8 over the Padres.
Goodluck to all the teams this season we can’t wait to see who makes it to the championship.
