This year for the 2024 Stadium Series there will be two games played at MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants. This is the first time since 2016 that two games will be played instead of just one.
The New York Rangers will be playing the New York Islanders on February 18, while the New Jersey Devils are facing off against the Philadelphia Flyers on the 17th. Both games will be broadcasted on ABC and ESPN+. The NHL announced the Stadium Series games on June 3, 2023. The league originally planned to only stage one game with just the Rangers and the Devils.
All three NHL teams in the New York metropolitan area will be represented, like the two games at Yankee Stadium in the 2014 NHL Stadium Series.
